The characteristics of sunscreen fabrics with different openness

The open-hole ratio is the ratio of small holes interwoven by the warp and weft threads of the sunshade fabric. The same texture is woven with fibers of the same color and diameter, and the ability to block solar radiant heat and control glare with a small opening rate is stronger than that of a large opening rate.

    1. Fabrics with an opening rate of 1% to 3% can block the heat generated by solar radiation to the greatest extent and control glare, but natural light will enter less and the transparency effect is relatively poor. Therefore, we usually suggest to use it in some sunlit directions (such as southwest), and when the curtain wall is made of transparent glass, to solve the problem of excessive heat radiation and dazzling sunlight.

    2. A fabric with 10% open porosity can obtain good natural light and transparency, but its resistance to solar radiation and glare is worse. We generally recommend the use of 10% open-porosity fabrics in some sun exposure directions (such as the north), and also use in some colored glass curtain walls to obtain the best natural lighting and transparency.

    3. 5% is generally widely used. It performs well in blocking solar radiation, controlling glare, and obtaining natural light and good transparency. We generally recommend that it can be used in the south.
